This is my 'the summer has come from nowhere I don't know what to wear outfit'. I got this skirt in the Reiss sale as I thought it was pretty versatile and could be dressed up or down. I went simple - I seem to say this alot, maybe this says something about my style. I wore a Topshop jersey tee with my black ALDO sandals. It was absolutely boiling and this skirt is quite thick so I was a little hot in this. I think this skirt is perfect for wearing through to winter though as it would look super cute with a knitted jumper and Chelsea boots or something along those lines.
As I haven't had a summer holiday just yet my summer wardrobe is somewhat lacking in comparison to most summers when I have an endless supply of cool, thin and short outfits. What have you guys been turning to in this hot weather? It is quite hard looking smart for work but also trying to stay cool in the heat.

Adore this skirt, it looks fab on you :) In the hot weather I tend to wear shorts or skirts all the time, I can't bear having my legs fully covered when the sun is out haha!
