You know that feeling when you find a new song and you feel like you've never heard anything so wonderful before, you want to sing and shout it's praises - you want to tell EVERYONE about it..... But at the same time there's that tiny bit inside of you that wants to keep this little secret to yourself. Today that is how i'm kind of feeling. However when I tell you the magical item in question is from Topshop, it is evident nothing stays a secret for long and one way or another in 2 months time everyone will be rocking this wonderful discovery.

Okay so I HATE shopping for jeans and when I say hate i mean despise, I literally could not think of anything worse. For the past 2 years all I have worn are Topshop Leigh jeans simply because I know they fit I can buy all the colours I like without having to try 27 pairs of new styles on in the fitting rooms - which is almost definitely unsuccessful.

Yesterday I was on my way to meet my friends for dinner and happened to walk past Topshop, now I am unable to simply 'walk' past, I always seem to 'accidentally' find myself trawling the rails inside. So I thought I'd have a gander at the new Spring collections that are slowly but surely touching down. Something caught my eye.... I wandered over to find THE. MOST. PERFECT. JEANS! So you know the American Apparel 'disco pants' which came in a few years ago, stupidly expensive but did wonders to your Derrière. They have slowly trickled down the fashion scale to the point where every girl seems to own a pair, every high street store has a 'dupe' and if you don't have any now - you're probably too late. Another trend not so highly picked up on was the American Apparel 'easy jean'. These are a similar style to the disco pant, high waist and super skinny but rather than the shiny stretchy fabric they are denim. The only bad thing is the price point which is where these new Topshop jeans come into their own.

Enter the new skinny extra high waist jean from Topshop.... JONI. Yup it's here, at a wonderfully purse pleasing £36 they are simply a must. Obviously I picked a pair up (without trying on - I couldn't face it) I crossed my fingers and hoped they would fit. And yup they did, like a glove. True to size although I might buy my next pair in a size smaller as I do have alot of breathing room in these. I went for the dark blue style however I know they are brand new so will come in a variety of colours in no time. They have also just come onto the website today in the 'new in' section. I spotted a black pair and a light blue pair.

Can you tell I feel quite passionately about this find? What d'ya think, did I convince you?!

  5. These really are fab, they look great on you darling. I'm a big fan of the Kristen jeans, so much so I have 3 pairs! I hate jeans shopping too, always a disaster because i've a small waist and then really curvy on bottom - brands don't seem to cater to those proportions but the Kristen jean does!

    1. Aw thanks Eda very kind. Ooo i've never had the Kristen's however I am now very tempted!! A small waist and curvy bottom is not a bad thing, but I know what you mean the high street is pretty rubbish at catering for all shapes and sizes! xx
