It survived it's first week so here is part 2 of my 'not fashion' feature. For christmas I was well and truly spoilt by my Auntie. I had asked for the Moroccan Rose Otto sugar body polish as I had heard great things about it. I know it has been hanging about on the beauty blogs for a while now so I thought i'd take the plunge. I absolutely love all REN products in particular the face masks, you may see them appearing over the next few weeks in this feature.

So rather than just the sugar body polish I was super duper happy to have received two extra parts of the Rose Otto collection. I also got the body oil and the body wash. I'm not going to try and get all clever on you and it is pretty self explanatory the scent of these is Rose - light, and floral.

Body Wash: At £17 I know this is quite expensive for a body wash that can be used up in a couple of months. I have literally just come to the end of this bottle and am very sad. I think as a birthday or christmas present this price tag is more realistic and a wonderful gift. This shower gel has literally made my mornings a happier more pleasurable experience. The scent is not too strong but does stay on the skin and is a lovely scent to have resurrect itself throughout the day. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a luxury feminine smelling wash.

Sugar Body Polish: So this was the product that first caught my eye as it filtered around the beauty blogs. There is something about an oil based exfoliator that seems a lot more appealing and luxurious. To me exfoliating has connotations of a painful, unpleasant experience - particularly if you have sensitive skin. This sugar polish has transformed my skin. The combination of the oil and exfoliating beads is amazing, once you have given yourself a good scrub down you are left feeling silky smooth - you can slide into bed Sunday evening at 10pm feeling suitably relaxed and ready for the week ahead. For me this is a weekly occurrence, usually on a Sunday evening where a pamper session often transpires. I have used it every Sunday since Christmas and it's lasting extremely well. You only need to use to smallest amount and your skin is left glowing.

Body Oil: Last but certainly not least is the body oil. This product is literally heaven in a glass bottle. I'm not sure I have to words within my vocabulary to describe this to you. This nourishes and soothes your skin leaving you feeling like velvet without feeling too greasy. The oil dries relatively quickly leaving you able to throw your clothes on soon after.

The combination of these three products enables you to feel like you have your very own spa to visit every Sunday evening. Imagine, you wash with the body wash, you exfoliate your skin leaving you feeling fresh and smooth then you slather on a thick layer of the body oil before jumping into your freshly made bed sheets and clean PJ's. This will leave you ready to drift straight off into the land of nod. The website explains how the rose collection is 'stress-relieveing and has harmonising properties' I agree with this 100% and highly recommend it.

  1. This looks so lovely, and I prefer oils over moisturisers because they feel nicer on the skin! xxx
