Okay we have ourselves a marmite outfit, and if I'm totally honest I'm not 100% which way I'm going with this. I picked this gilet up from Topshop on the weekend and instantly loved it (are you sensing a but?). I don't know what it is but looking back at these pictures I'm not sure if it's a bit too Cruella Deville... what do you think?

When I took these pictures it was absolutely freezing and this jacket kept me so warm and I felt really snug so a big old tick on the suitable for winter front. I am also a massive lover of monochrome so this is such a classic piece to have in your wardrobe to throw on over simple basics to create more of a 'look'. I went for an all black outfit underneath the gilet with Leigh jeans from Topshop, a roll neck jumper from M&S (best quality!), my Zara patent boots and this Whistles clutch.

I think I need to play around and try out some different outfit alternatives to convince myself. Maybe a black pleated midi skirt with a thicker oversized jumper underneath to make it a little less glam and a bit more androgynous? Or baggy jeans and a boyfriend top?

Hope you're all having a good week so far! x
