With London Fashion Week drawing to a close I'm suddenly feeling all Spring like... We may be heading straight for autumn/winter 15 in wardrobe terms but designers showing at LFW have just given us a glimpse into their spring/summer 16 collections. This has undoubtedly left me longing ever so slightly for the summer months again... as I gaze out of my bedroom window into the pitch black evening at 7.30pm it's safe to say winter is upon us. However, with the odd sunny day still making a welcome appearance I feel like this outfit still has a bit of life left in it.

Here I am well and truly channeling that spring summer vibe with this bright stripey dress. I'll hold my hands up and confess this outfit was inspired entirely by the lovely Erica from The Edited who wore this dress a good few months ago and I have been searching high and low in every H&M I have come across ever since. In my opinion she is the English 'Taza' or Naomi Davis - literally the coolest lady.

This is one of those outfits I feel like I'm drawing attention to myself and can make me feel slightly 'out there' as let's face it, it's not a blend in kinda dress. I love the bright colours and although it's a maxi length dress it has side splits which make it a bit less serious. I was also thinking this could be worn undone as a jacket over skinny jeans and stan smiths just to try a more dressed down approach. I'm wearing my Whistles chelsea boots from last year but have worn sandals with this dress on warmer days.

Come back tomorrow where I'm going to give a mini round up of my favourite London Fashion Week looks and designers.

Happy Tuesday! x
