It sure does feel the London weather is in limbo at the moment. Darker mornings, rainy days then a gloriously hot weekend!? It has me torn between buying a new autumn wardrobe and keeping my summer pieces out a little longer. I'm definitely not complaining as I love the clear skies and warmer days and am dreading the moment the mornings are too dark for an early morning run. Anyway onto this outfit. These trousers are actually about 3 years old bought from Topshop - the day I was wearing them I was sat opposite a lady on the tube wearing the exact same pair (awkward) and we gave each other a knowing smirk 'you've had those for years but they're still a trusty summer classic'. I love the shape and how comfortable they are, you can also just throw on a basic tee or plain top and the outfit it complete.

On to the denim top - I have a confession to make (sorry Luce)... I met a friend for breakfast a few weekends ago and she was wearing this top and I knew I had to get my hands on it as it looked amazing on her - I bloomin' love it and it's not pictured here but it has a really lovely open back. I love the frayed edge with the higher neck - I also love wearing it with high waist indigo wash jeans and some high waist black floaty shorts.

Something that made me smile, while taking these pictures one of my lovely neighbours shouted over and asked why I wasn't taking my pictures outside her garden as it was the best on the street - some people just give you a giggle in the morning and help start your day right.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend, now here's to a fresh week.
