A few weekends back I went to Greenman festival - I know I have mentioned this many times now, but I thought I would do a blog post summary of a few of my 600 pictures. Okay I know I have probably included a few too many and I haven't edited them too well but I tried, such a beginner. The weekend was absolutely amazing, it rained for a few days which was rubbish but I carried my umbrella everywhere with me so it was fine and dandy. I saw a multitude of bands, artists, comedians and various other forms of entertainment. The atmosphere at Greenman is so chilled out, there is a real family feel and lots of youngsters scurrying about, you can tell they are going to be super cool when they are older with their mini hunter wellies and floral dresses. Some of my highlights included Van Morrison, King Charles, Michael Kiwanuka, The Staves, and Feist - just to name a few. Finally Benjamin Francis Leftwich (see picture above) who I actually saw perform twice, the first time was in a tiny tent with about 20 people in, my brother also got a picture with him - such a fan boy.

I was lucky enough to stay in a 'motor home' (caravan) which was a nice change compared to camping in tents which is what I am used to at Glastonbury and Benicassim. This was such a luxury especially as it was raining most of the time, I had a lovely double bed at the top of the van in a kind of pod area.

The food was so good, as always - festivals always seem to provide such an array of food types. I made sure I ate something different each meal so I could try and much as possible. My favourite was the halloumi cheese and chorizo wrap made fresh to order right infront of me.

Most of my weekend I spent sat in a camping chair at the top of the hill by the main stage with a glass of wine (bottle) watching all the acts. I only moved if there was someone else I wanted to see on another stage. I found the festival a great way to discover new artists which are quite new and yet to become 'well known' and 'mainstream' - there were some seriously talented people to be seen.

I will definitely be returning next year!
