Outfit: Nautical & Embroidered

Morning!!

So again the sun is out; the perfect opportunity to wear my new embroidered skirt. I bought this on Monday in Topshop - i'm guessing it is brand new in as I couldn't see it on the website to give you guys a link. I absolutely love this skirt, the embroidery is so feminine and delicate. I think this would love amazing for an evening out with a more sophisticated top. I wore it in the daytime so I dressed it down with the nautical stripe top. I think the contradiction of the floral print with the stripes is really interesting. I am off to 'Green Man' a music festival on thursday and I can already visualise me wearing this with my navy blue hunter wellies, a real juxtaposition of casual and dressy; feminine against masculine.
