Christmas jumpers. Where did they even come from?! They seem to have just taken off over the past 2 years, I don't remember them ever being a 'thing' when I was younger. I think it started with the more novelty styles then came the real traditional over the top vintage type and now every single store has some sort of Christmas jumper offering; even the likes of Abercrombie and Fitch and Marks and Spencer which really surprises me - very clever and obviously they're just getting on board where they know they can make lots of money. I'm not sure how I feel about it, although there is the annual 'Christmas Jumper Day' in my office which raises money for charity I don't really see much of a reason to buy one. That being said, after searching online for this post I did find a couple I would 100% purchase and two of which are definitely on my wish list, but hey I don't think I can justify two Christmas jumpers. It's kind of one of those things where you may wear it on Christmas day or Christmas eve but really I want to wear something nice and not too comical? I don't know, what do you think? Are you a fan of the Christmas Jumper? Can you be swayed by the below?

Okay let's start with my favourite of the bunch, more of a sweatshirt than a knitted jumper but the font on this just sells it to me. There's something very Bella Freud about it but at a fraction of the price.

Okay this one really surprises me, Abercrombie getting on board with the Christmas jumper fun?! Well this is quite an understated one but still if you want a little festive fun this is a nice simple choice and could easily be worn throughout winter without looking like you're still wearing a Christmas jumper...

This one has been around for the past few years but if you're a fan of the film I'm sure you'll still be tempted by this, and it's only £15 so if you only wear it on Christmas day you've got yourself a bargain.

I love this one, comical and classic at the same time. It also look really cosy and warm perfect for snuggling up in front of the fire on Christmas evening.

This made me smile, while scrolling through 'Not On The Highstreet' this caught my eye, we all have one person this would be perfect for...

New Look definitely have the biggest selection of Christmas jumpers and this one got my attention, very wintery colours with a penguin, Christmas pudding AND a reindeer... what more do you want? Christmas merged into one jumper.

Okay this one is a bit more classy with a vintage feel, I really like the detailing and how it's not a really obvious Christmas jumper, I mean you could bring this back out on Boxing day and I'm sure nobody will judge ;)

Yes, I'm really tempted by this one and it's only £32. A Christmas jumper that would actually look quite nice? Teamed with a pair of skinny jeans and ankle boots. Theres something quite classy about it, I think it's the gold and grey combo.

And finally last but not least, what more can I say about Christmas jumpers... Let's end on one with sparkles, sequins and red, green and gold.

I hope I've given a little inspiration if you're struggling to find the perfect Christmas jumper this year, there's definitely a good old selection out there. And also, just a thought if you're not up for spending the £15+ I'm sure your local charity shop would have a few vintage classics. Tip: avoid the vintage stores as they'll probably be three times the price.
