Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and is looking forward to the week ahead. Today's outfit post still has me wishing for summer and also clinging onto the last of my tan (most depressing thing in the world, a fading tan...)

I'm going to start with my favourite part of the outfit, my new slip on flats from Zara, they're real leather and very comfortable however if you're thinking of doing a lot of walking - don't bother as they are an absolute pain in the arse to walk in. Still, I can't help but love them I think they look really effortless and there's something quite scandi chic about them. I got this top from Topshop a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it, you know when you like something so much you buy it in every colour possible, I may have picked up the white and maybe I'll just double check there aren't any others available ;) I like how the ties on the shoulder make it really delicate and feminine. The jeans are my mom jeans from Warehouse which I got in the sale ages ago but I love this kind of wash for the spring summer months. Finally, my jacket is a lightweight duster coat from H&M; again it's very old but I got it from the trend section so there may be a few hanging about on eBay.

I'm making it my mission to sort through my wardrobe this week in my search of a 'less is more' capsule wardrobe, lots of simple basics to see me through the summer. I'll let you know how I get on but if you have any tips, let me know (I am the ultimate hoarder).

I remember when I first started this blog a few years ago every Monday I'd post some sort of motivational image or quote, so for old times sake and on this beautiful sunny Monday morning here's today's message...

  1. That top is so pretty! I want to do the same thing this summer, I'm trying to think of different ways the wear the clothes I already have rather than keep buying new ones! xx
