I'm not sure I've ever written a 'favourites' post before. It's my favourite type of video to watch on Youtube, so thought it would be a nice idea for a blog post seeing as I haven't yet ventured into the world of Youtube. I love these sort of posts or videos because it's the best way to get ideas for new products or brands as well as getting an honest, unbiased review of the product.

Here are some of my recent favourites...

1. Porter Magazine - created by online retailer 'Net-A-Porter' you know this will be filled to the brim with beautiful outfits, exciting designers and stylish women. I love this magazine as it's not strictly all fashion, there is a scattering of travel, culture and food posts.

2. Zara Stripe Top - If there's an item of clothing I can't live without it's a stripe top. I would say I have at least 20 stripe tops sitting in my wardrobe, and no you can never have too many. For those days where you want to feel comfy and casual a stripe top is the perfect choice.

3. Diptyque Figuier Room Spray - This is something of a naughty luxury, while out on a Sunday stroll around Muswell Hill I wandered past a SpaceNK and accidentally ended up leaving with that lovely little black and white bag. Prior to this I was using the Baies scent which, although very beautiful, I thought it was time for a change. I actually have the Diptyque perfume in a similar fig scent and I love it. It's a lovely warm fragrance and not too feminine, so perfect for spritzing around the flat - it also helps that it looks very sophisticated sitting on the bookshelf ;)

4. Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm - This is hands down ('scuse the pun) the most incredible hand cream I have ever used. I've been using this for well over a year now and haven't found any other brand that lives up to it. It has the most amazing mandarin orange scent which is really refreshing - I can't go to bed or leave for work without applying a thick layer of this. At £19 it is slightly expensive but it lasts for a good few months - I also think this would be the perfect stocking filler for Christmas!

5. Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial - I picked this up from SpaceNK a couple of months ago and am really, really impressed. This is a silky serum oil that you apply before bed leaving you with radiant, rejuvenated, glowing skin, serious! It's slightly expensive (£45) but I'm always happy investing in good quality, effective skincare. I find applying this before bed also helps me drift off to sleep as it has a really lovely relaxing fragrance which is a mixture of jasmine, frangipani, rose and tuberose.

6. I am easily enabled by beauty bloggers so obviously gave in and purchased the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - I've been using it for about 6 months now and really like it. You can build a heavier coverage if you're going on a night out or need your make up to last all day or you can apply a light layer leaving a glowing natural finish. I find this blends in really easily and hasn't caused any skin problems, which often happens when using a new foundation. I shall definitely be repurchasing this when it runs out.

7. Last but not least, is this totally unnecessary purchase from Whistles which is the Moxham Leather Clip which I use as a key ring. I love it, very simple but looks chic and sophisticated - there's something about having a nice key ring on your house keys (maybe I'm the only crazy person that thinks this).
