ASOS PICKS - Boho

 

There comes a point when you look at your ASOS 'saved items' and realise you gotta do something about it. And I don't mean move it into your basket (although that would be lovely). So i've decided to create a mini series aptly titled 'asos picks'. Maybe by showing you guys what is sitting in my basket it is a step away from purchasing, like getting something off your chest... hmmm not sure about that.

So first things first 'boho' or 'boho-chic' the hippie, bohemian look most famously styled by the likes of Sienna Miller and Kate Moss - they just seem to carry this look off effortlessly. As it's festival season this trend is everrrrywhere! It's the messy-hair-just-got-out-of-bed-going-to-throw-this-floral-dress-on or throw-my-hair-in-a-bun-cover-my-face-with-sunnies-wheres-that-baggy-jumper kind of look.

In your opinion what are the boho must haves this season?

1. Black jumpsuit - this is an absolute classic peice, perfect for any wardrobe but sits so well with that boho style, very effortless but glamorous.

2. Tan leather bag - an investment but something that will never date, this beautifully soft leather only gets better with age. It can be worn with any outfit as the colour is very neutral.

3. Floral snapback - while in Glastonbury this year I took a liking to my brothers snap back - you haven't washed your hair?! no problem throw this on! This snap back has a feminine feel with the floral detail.

4. Animal tapestry jumper - this vintage look animal picture jumper is perfect for those cold summer evenings, it's easy to layer over any outfit be it a little dress or baggy denim jeans.

5. Floral kimono - this gorgeous floral maxi kimono is the perfect 'boho' piece - style it up with some sort of embellished jacket or dress it down with flat sandals and a denim jacket.

6. Sunglasses - these super cool sunglasses are a must have this season, really flattering for all face shapes and a bargain price!

7. H by Hudson boots - at £150 these vintage finds are a real investment but they are a classic item that will stay looking cool in your wardrobe for years to come!

8. Floral skater dress - this cute floral skater dress is the perfect addition to your boho wardrobe - the absolute festival must have worn with wellies, converse, boots or sandals.
