Today I thought I'd take a dip into my makeup bag and show you what I plaster on each morning. Granted it is very very simple but I am no beauty expert - don't get me wrong I love make up but it's not a specialty of mine. I tend to buy whatever I read positive reviews on. Over the years I have developed a set of products which are my 'go to'. For example my mascara (Maxfactor collection 2000), eye liner (Rimmel Glam Eyes) and lipstick (MAC Lustre) have been sitting in my makeup bag for over 2 years and I am still just as obsessed with them. Foundation however is something I like to update every now and then as there is so much choice around. I will do a post dedicated to my favourite foundations as I do have a few which I rotate. I have always been a big 'MAC' girl, mainly because one of my best friends used to work there so I knew a lot about the product range. These days I am pretty open minded and have been trying lots of different brands - at the moment I am loving Laura Mercier products.

I only have one little rule I stick to - I always slather on a load of moisturiser then primer before applying my foundation as to avoid dry skin, I can really notice a difference if I skip this step.

A little fact for you, I have never ever touched my eyebrows - they have never been plucked, waxed etc. I'm not sure why it was just never something that bothered me, although I know it is probably about time I did something about them...
