It's been a key product on the beauty blogger scene for many years now but only in December did I finally cave. The Aesop parsley seed cleansing mask has been one of the products on my 'need to pick up' list for absolutely ages and i'm not sure what was stopping me. As a higher end brand I think it's completely affordable at £27 mainly because it gives great results and also lasts forever. The main ingredients are evening primrose, parsley seed and rosehip seed; it smells amazing and extremely relaxing, ideal for a pre bedtime face masque.
Description from the Aesop site;
'A clay-based masque to deeply cleanse and refresh most skin types, particularly sensitive or dry. A gentle yet thorough deep-cleansing treatment that extracts impurities clogging the pores, to smooth and refresh the skin'
Me and my skin have been facing something of an up hill battle lately and this sure has helped. I use this product every Sunday as part of my intense cleansing routine - I find it really brightens my face and tightens the skin. Although this does have a chalky effect when it's on your face (it actually hardens and makes your face feel tight and stuck) it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry at all once it's washed off. You're supposed to leave it on for 15 minutes then gently rinse it off. The cherry on the top, the packaging is absolutely beautiful; simple, sleek and luxurious.
I picked this up off the Cult Beauty website, my 'go to' beauty website, super fast delivery and a really easy sight to browse *little bit obsessed!
After using this for a few months I feel i'm ready to take a leap and try some more Aesop products, what would you guys recommend?
